Emma Yeah is a historical interpreter, costumer, and Artist based in Nottingham, UK.
Her work explores the lives of Victorian women through embodied performance, material culture, and sustainable textile practice. Drawing on over 17 years of experience in costume, live performance and interpretation, she works with museum spaces and historical garments to investigate how narratives of gender, labour, and domestic power are carried in dress.
Through her ongoing Chatelaines project and immersive museum work, she explores how women carried power, care, and identity at the waist and in their hands.
